The objectives of the MDA include:

1. Increase access to primary and secondary schools to the most marginalized groups including learners with disabilities/SEN
2. Improve inclusive and quality education in the area of operation through capacity building and teaching professional development
3. Improve school facilities and environments to ensure learners are present, participate and achieve to the best of their ability
4. Influence the formulation and adaptation of educational policies with the aim to increase access, improve retention and performance for learners with disabilities/SEN
5. Build public awareness and consensus on the social inclusion and economic advantage for disability communities through advocacy
6. Undertake and support demonstrative and innovative programs to increase community participation in the creation of equitable society
7. Empower all persons with disabilities through education for effective participation in the creation of inclusive society
8. Establish partnerships with government line ministries, universities, education actors, donors, communities and other respective NGOs for effective implementation of programs to improve education for all.
